Lime Scooter: I was sitting outside and listening to music. I put my lawn chair in the garage, and then P's friend M magically appears with a Lime Scooter. He works for the company. I tried it for a couple min. It was fun.
Sun. Sept. 8, 2019 Tarot cards: I always had an interest in this.
Brittany Carmichael: She has a video series on Facebook called "Woo-Woo Wednesday" where she reads tarot or oracle cards. I listen to her videos when I'm on the internet. She has recently released her own oracle cards.
https://www.facebook.com/theworldbybrit/
Colette Baron-Reid: I know about her because I saw promos for her show Messages from Spirit. She is a medium and can talk to the dead. I saw one episode and it was average. I never watched it again.
You can get a free online oracle reading here:

The difference between tarot and oracle cards: Brittany Carmichael explains that tarot cards have 78 cards and 5 suits that never changes. Oracle cards vary in different amounts and has different things on the cards. There aren't any suits.
Fortune Telling by Hazel Whitaker: I went to the Centre of Spiritual Living and there is library and I checked out this book. I read the tarot cards part first. There are good water color pictures in it too:

Sept. 9, 2019 "Ottawa's Indigenous Theatre to launch first season": Today I found this aricle by David Friend in the Star Metro:
Kevin Loring, the Indigeneous Theatre's artistic director:
“Art can shed light on issues that are difficult in a really powerful way that reaches beyond your intellect,” he said.
“Stories reach us in our hearts, and that’s how we change minds.”
Kylie Rae Harris‘ final hours were spent reminiscing on memories driving down the very roads she would soon die on.
On Wednesday afternoon, before the fatal crash that tragically claimed the country singer’s life, Harris, 30, posted a series of videos on her Instagram Stories documenting her road trip through New Mexico.
The videos were particularly eerie as a teary-eyed Harris discussed a previous crash in the state that she was involved in with her sister and father and how all of her family members who lived in Taos area of New Mexico, with the exception of her uncle, had died there. Sadly as of Wednesday night, she is yet another member of her family to die in Taos.
Eva Longoria bullied on Desperate Housewives:
During Felicity Huffman's recent court appearance, her legal team submitted more than two dozen letters of support in hopes that the judge overseeing her involvement in the college admissions scandal would offer a more lenient sentence later this month. One of those letters was written by Huffman's Desperate Housewives co-stars, Eva Longoria, and it outlined a situation that she described as "pure torture." During her run on the show, Longoria described a situation in which she was bullied by a coworker. Huffman was the one that stood up for her and stopped the situation before it got worse.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Longoria explained the situation in her letter of support and called Huffman a "good friend." The two of them worked "every day, of every week for nearly 15 hours a day," CNN notes. Longoria added that when she was cast on the show, she was new to the industry and Huffman was the first to embrace her and welcome her.
"When I began the TV show, I was very new to the business and industry as a whole," Longoria wrote. "Felicity was the first one to take me under her wing. From the first table read of the script, she noticed me sitting alone, scared and unsure of where to go and what to do. Her gentle character and kind heart immediately opened up to me."
Part of that friendship involved a bullying incident, which was also described in the letter. Longoria said that she would not have been able to survive the show's decade-long run without Huffman there beside her.
"There was a time I was being bullied at work by a co-worker," Longoria noted, though she did not specifically name the costar who was bullying her. "I dreaded the days I had to work with that person because it was pure torture. Until one day, Felicity told the bully 'enough' and it all stopped. Felicity could feel that I was riddled with anxiety even though I never complained or mentioned the abuse to anyone."
In addition to bullying, Longoria explained that Huffman also helped her earn pay parity. When the show started, Longoria was the lowest-paid of the four main actors. So, when it came time for contract negotiations, Longoria said that Huffman suggested they negotiate together.
"Felicity brought up that we should negotiate together, something we call favored nations that means we all make the same. This meant that my salary would significantly increase and I would be on par with the more experienced actors," she wrote. "Well needless to say, that did not go over too well with the others. But Felicity stood up for me, saying it was fair because the success of the show depended on all of us, not one of us."

Tired of people cashing their millions of dollars in paychecks, then complaining after the payday is over.

Im sorry for Eva. But a crime is a crime and Felicity did one.
My opinion: Well that's nice that Huffman stood up for her. This reminded me of another case of a group of famous women not getting along.
Spice Girls: Mel C/ Sporty Spice from the Spice Girls who said some of the girls bullied her. She didn't name names, but she said they have apologized to her.
I remember watching Larry King in 2014 and he interviewed Mel B/ Scary Spice.
Mel B: We (all the girls) fought like cats and dogs.
Mel B: Geri quit the group on my birthday.
I don't know if Geri did that intentionally on Mel B's birthday or she totally forgot about the day.
This was when Geri quit, I did read something about the limo driver telling tabloids she quit because of Mel B's nagging. I don't know if that's true or not.
Good day: I got called in today to work at my 2nd restaurant job. Also a customer left the Edmonton Journal there so I got a free newspaper.

Sept. 13, 2019 Felicity Huffman goes to prison:
BOSTON (Reuters) - Actress Felicity Huffman, the first parent sentenced in a wide-ranging U.S. college admissions cheating scandal, was given a 14-day prison term on Friday and made a somber apology in federal court for paying to rig her daughter's entrance exam.
U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani also ordered Huffman, the former star of the popular television series "Desperate Housewives" and one-time Academy Award nominee, to pay a $30,000 fine, undergo a year of supervised release and complete 250 hours of community service. Huffman, 56, pleaded guilty in May.
"My first apology is to you," Huffman, wearing a black dress, told the judge immediately before being sentenced.
"I realize now as a mother that love and truth must go hand in hand, and love at the expense of truth is not real love," the actress said. "I will deserve whatever punishment you give me."
The scandal cast a spotlight on the advantages of wealth in college admissions and the lengths to which some rich Americans have gone to get their children into top universities at the expense of other applicants.
After the sentencing hearing, Huffman issued a statement expanding on her apology.
"I especially want to apologize to the students who work hard every day to get into college, and to their parents who make tremendous sacrifices supporting their children," Huffman said in the statement.
"My hope now is that my family, my friends and my community will forgive me for my actions," Huffman added.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Eric Rosen said incarceration was the only way to punish a wealthy person like Huffman whose real currency is fame.
"In prison there are no paparazzi. It's the great leveler," Rosen said.
My opinion: She did sound truly remorseful.
Grand Hotel: I saw the season 1 finale of this show (produced by Eva Longoria). The whole season was very good and entertaining. It solves the mystery of Sky's disappearance. There were other mysteries like who is blackmailing Matteo about Sky's disappearance.
Sept. 11, 2019 Hardware Grill closed down: I saw this in the Star Metro:
"Province to keep funding school nutrition program": Today I found this article by Kevin Maimann in the Star Metro. This is good news:

Then today I had series record The Rookie and I was going to delete it. Then the end of this show was airing on CTV. In the evening, I was going through Telus on Demand and I found it and got to watch it. I'm going to record the whole series and watch it in one week. It's on Fri. night at 9pm.
