Sun. Apr. 19, 2020 Edmonton Screenwriters Facebook Group: I went there and Terry asks if anyone has read his script. I checked my email and he sent his script at the beginning on Mar. 2020. I had free time and then got right on to reading and making some notes, and send them to him.
Mon. Apr. 20, 2020 Mystery Shopping Canada: This was a long time ago, back in 2015. My friend Dan N. who I have known since 2005 in college, told me about this. This is not a scam. He makes like $60 a month.
I was researching my work from home jobs and there were mystery shoppers.
Spring: Today was warm enough that I went outside and sat on my lawn chair.
I did learn that my electric plugins on the outside of my house didn't work and was unable to charge my tablet and cellphone, or play my stereo.
The electric plugins on the outside of my garage was able to charge my tablet and cellphone, and play my stereo.Tues. Apr. 21, 2020 Subway donates to Food Bank:In addition, starting March 30th, Subway® will donate $2 from every delivery purchase to Food Banks Canada**.
Thurs. Apr. 23, 2020 "Lululemon issues apology, fires employee for 'bat fried rice' shirt post":
Lululemon has issued an apology after a now former employee advertised a “bat fried rice” shirt on Instagram.Trevor Fleming, who previously worked as an art director for the Canadian athleisure brand, was terminated for sharing a link in his Instagram profile to a shirt created by artist, Jess Sluder. The long-sleeved shirt, advertised on Sluder’s website under the name “Bat Fried Rice,” featured an image of bat wings and chopsticks on the front, and a bat in a Chinese food container with the words “no thank you” on the back. The shirt, which is not a Lululemon product, sparked criticism for promoting anti-Asian sentiments and racism. The hashtag “Lululemon insults China” was reportedly viewed 204 million times on Weibo, a Chinese website, with many calling for a Lululemon boycott.
“Lululemon, usually I am one of your biggest customers,” a social media user wrote on Instagram. “Today, however, I am disappointed by your lack of transparency. Not only did your employee blatantly display xenophobia and racism, but he also exploited COVID19 just to make a few bucks.”In a now-deleted Instagram post, Sluder, who designed the shirt wrote, “Where did COVID-19 come from? Nothing is certain, but we know a bat was involved. Beginning today, my limited edition #quarantees are now available. Link in bio or DM for details…Thank you for your support and sense of humour! #humornothat #batfriedrice.”Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, reports of racist abuse towards Asians have increased around the world.Lululemon immediately distanced itself from Fleming’s post and issued a statement on its Weibo account, in which they reiterated that Sluder’s shirt was not affiliated with their brand.“At Lululemon, our culture and values are core to who we are, and we take matters like this extremely seriously,” a spokesperson for Lululemon wrote in an email to NBC News. “The image and the post were inappropriate and inexcusable and we do not tolerate this behaviour.”Fleming has also acknowledged that sharing a link to Sluder’s shirt “was wrong” and has apologized for his actions.“It is something I deeply regret, and my eyes have been opened to the profound ripple effect that this mistake has had,” Fleming wrote in an email. "I apologize to those that have been hurt by this ... I commit to standing up against racist or discriminatory behaviour and will work hard to ensure that my personal and professional contributions in the future are kind, inclusive and supportive.”In 2015, Lululemon faced similar anti-Asian criticism when founder Chip Wilson said it was “funny” when Japanese people tried to pronounce the brand’s name.
My opinion: This was offensive. However, I wasn't really that personally offended.
I accept his apology because he seems sincere.
Apr. 25, 2020 I wrote about this before, but I want to add to it:
Ellen DeGeneres quarantine jail joke:
“One thing that I’ve learned from being in quarantine is that people — this is like being in jail, is what it is,” she said. “It’s mostly because I’ve been wearing the same clothes for 10 days and everyone in here is gay.”
There is controversy and people are offended because she is living in a mansion and she can go wherever she wants. In jail, people can't leave.

My opinion: This is:
A. Offensive
B. Funny
C. Both
D. Neither
I thought this was mildly funny. I have gotten this feeling where I feel like I'm in prison because of Canadian winters. I only go out for school, work, or doctor appointments. I take the bus everywhere and I hate waiting for the bus in the winter time. It's cold out and I don't want to go out even for something fun like shopping or a social event.

My old boss Adrian said: B.
My friend Cham says I can post her comment here:
She’s not funny she’s rude and condescending
I never liked her
Look up those YouTube videos of her being exposed for being rude
There’s even a Twitter thread of people posting bad experiences with herEllen DeGeneres not paying her crew: Here is an excerpt:
Crew members from Ellen DeGeneres’ long-running daytime talk show are distressed and outraged over their treatment from top producers amid the coronavirus pandemic, numerous insiders affiliated with the series told Variety. The core stage crew for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” consisting of more than 30 employees, received no written communication about the status of their working hours, pay, or inquiries about their mental and physical health from producers for over a month, said two sources, both of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity. Higher-ups in production would occasionally answer phone calls but reveal little, added one of the sources. The crew was further incensed by the show’s recent hire of an outside, non-union tech company to help DeGeneres tape remotely from her home in California. When production executives finally did weigh in, nearly all crew members were told last week to brace for a 60% reduction in pay, even as the show continues to air, according to sources close to the matter.
