Here you will have access to various resources that will help you identify things that you can do to generate additional income. Articles, links, ideas, trends … We will share the latest opportunities available.
You can be assured that if we are covering the opportunity here; we have completed some due diligence and determined that it is worthwhile to share to our readers and followers.
Knowledge is power! All the best as you read about and act on various opportunities. Please provide feedback to let us know about your successes!
Before we identify the best way for you to make extra money today, let’s start by examining what you are most comfortable with. To achieve maximum rewards, we usually need to work longer; work harder; sacrifice personal time with family and friends; constantly be focused on making gains; the price of success.
This is not for everyone! In fact, some people think that they should just quit their job and start working at home on an online business. Stop! Never do that. There is a huge learning curve. Our recommended action is to continue to work at whichever job you currently have.
Take time to learn and explore the multiple ways that one can earn extra money working from home and online. As you increase your extra income and build a successful online business, you can consider advantages of perhaps doing this on a full-time basis in the future. However, as long as possible continue earning a reliable weekly or biweekly pay check from your existing employer.
For those of you that do not want the burden of longer hours of work and minimal life impact, you may just want to focus on an extra part-time job in which you know that if you work five hours, you will get paid an exact amount for those five hours. No additional stress or worry; you leave your “work” at your place of employment.
This has advantages and is what many people are content with. However, this website is focused on encouraging people to think differently. Not necessarily work harder, but instead how to work smarter!
Articles and blogs are posted that are designed to give you ideas; to provide you with information that you can consider to see if these extra income generating ideas may be a good fit for you. At the very least, you will be able to see and consider various opportunities, participate in discussion; provide feedback; share ideas; and learn some new things.
Various links on the site have been carefully selected. They are related to learning (Clickbank University) about online opportunities, as well as useful resources to build and host websites (Bluehost);
register domain names; and various platforms to earn income by promoting affiliate links (Clickbank/Commission Junction/Shareasale).
For disclosure purposes, we do receive a small commission if anyone clicks and purchases through our links.
There are thousands of affiliate links that you can promote, however we are very careful in only promoting links that we are confident will be a great resource to our website visitors. Enjoy the information and resources. We are confident that you will learn how to generate extra income.
Before deciding what you want to do, especially before you start a new business, make a list of all the various things that interest you.
Anything that you are excited about;
passionate about;
care deeply about;
enjoy reading about;
interested in learning more about.
Jot these things down in a notebook. This is your starting point. Why? Because if you structure an online business around things that you are genuinely interested in, it will not seem like work at all.
So many successful businesses have been started by people because it centered around their personal interests and passions.
Make it a habit of writing your ideas in your notebook, and review and think about ways you can do something related to your interests by offering a service, products, or expertise.
If nothing immediate comes to mind that is perfectly fine. The next step is doing some research into the things you identified. Google is a great tool. Search your listed items and see if this leads to more specific ideas. Continue to write down your notes for future reference.

Selling a Product or Service
Consider the skills you have. Consider all of the work experiences that you have had since entering the workforce. Your skills translate into your expertise.
How many friends; work colleagues; social media contacts do you have?
After identifying,
reflecting on,
and considering all the above,
you can think about online earning options.
Now, do not get this wrong; the process of identifying your skills and experience; and considering your personal and professional networks, is not a five or ten minute process.
In fact, the more time that you invest in analyzing your strengths and acknowledging weaknesses, or growth areas is connected to your success moving forward.
Those of you that have acquired unique skills through work experience have an added advantage.
You can take those acquired skills and experience and provide services to others for a fee.
This is often what various consultants do. They use their skills to assist others for a fee. For those of you that do not have work experience skills to offer others, do not worry because you may have acquired skills simply through hobbies and areas of self-education and interest. Your skills can be used to earn additional income. We will identify various ways of achieving this.
Even for those that cannot identify skills that can be used to generate revenue, options exist. One can always acquire unique skills and expertise. Various training is all around us: courses, programs, online learning, YouTube and much more.
Many opportunities exist today for people to find a product they like and sell the product in person or online. Many online platforms exist to make this process quite simple. We will review tips and strategies on how to do this. Get ready to expand your thinking so it is more “Out of the Box”. Get ready to learn and grow!
My opinion: There isn't much on this Gap Fund website. I do like the writing and the above job advice.
I did find a big ad for Thinkific to click on.

Using a smooth series of steps, one can create beautiful learning courses that are easy to navigate and present information. "What you experience doesn't define who you are. But it just packages you and helps you for what you are going to be doing in the future."
My opinion: I'm going to put this in my inspirational quotes.
Friends: 2 weeks ago, I called my friend Dan L. and we talked for 30 min. We always end up talking about movies.
He said he gets all these DVDs from the Reuse Centre for 25 cents. So if anyone wants to buy DVDs, go there.
Last week I called my friend Cham and we talked for 35 min. We also talked about movies.
She told me about traveling cancellations, though you can't get a refund, you can get credit to your next trip.
Yesterday I called my friend Sherry and we talked for 1 hr and 7 min. She told me she took a couple of dance classes when she was in college. I didn't know that. She describes her modern dance routine. I like dance, but it's hard to write and I will describe this to the best of my ability.
She says about using a shawl to wear, and then using the shawl as a way to dance like a bird, running and tumbling.
Grocery shopping: Sherry told me she did some grocery shopping like buying veggies to put in the freezer and it will last a month. She is not hoarding.
My dad and grandma go grocery shopping once a week and the food like veggies and meat will last a week. We are not hoarding.
Mar. 31, 2020 Job search: I have been looking for a work from home job intensely for the whole month of Mar. Today I did something different, and applied to these positons at a store website.
Liquor stores open: I found this on Facebook from my friend Sam:
Hey has anyone else noticed that the liquor stores are still open and doing a booming business
While I'm not for prohibition here gotta ask the question
Since when is getting drunk and hammered an essential service?
There are 54 comments. I "liked" and "shared" it.
Apr. 1, 2020 "Government introduces Canada Emergency Response Benefit to help workers and businesses": My friend Sherry and I talked about this:
To support workers and help businesses keep their employees, the government has proposed legislation to establish the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). This taxable benefit would provide $2,000 a month for up to four months for workers who lose their income as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The CERB would be a simpler and more accessible combination of the previously announced Emergency Care Benefit and Emergency Support Benefit.
The CERB would cover Canadians who have lost their job, are sick, quarantined, or taking care of someone who is sick with COVID-19, as well as working parents who must stay home without pay to care for children who are sick or at home because of school and daycare closures. The CERB would apply to wage earners, as well as contract workers and self-employed individuals who would not otherwise be eligible for Employment Insurance (EI).
Additionally, workers who are still employed, but are not receiving income because of disruptions to their work situation due to COVID-19, would also qualify for the CERB. This would help businesses keep their employees as they navigate these difficult times, while ensuring they preserve the ability to quickly resume operations as soon as it becomes possible.

"I'm A Landlord Who Waived April Rent. I'll Do It Until July If I Need To": Jon Shell As told to HuffPost associate editor Connor Garel
I’m a landlord. It’s not my full-time job, but I own a semi-detached triplex in Toronto’s Little Italy, where I have eight tenants. There’s a single mom with two kids, a couple on the first floor and three other tenants.
I don’t know much about their personal situations. I don’t know their salaries. A few of them might be freelancers. What I do know is that, in an economic crisis like the one brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, tenants are some of the most vulnerable people out of all of us. That’s why I’ve decided to waive rent for April.
And probably May.
June, too, if it gets that far.
About two weeks ago, when people started getting laid off, I started getting pretty anxious. Social distancing was costing small businesses their income, and those losses threatened to close them altogether. Thousands have lost their paycheque entirely. Some 500,000 Canadians applied for employment insurance just last week, and that figure has since ballooned to an estimated 1 million. I just couldn’t understand how they would pay rent.
So I wrote a blog post, “9 Things Canadian Governments Can Do To Avoid A ‘Social Distancing’ Economic Tragedy.” In it, one of the goals of my proposed solutions was to reduce, or altogether eliminate, people’s rent. Then I asked myself: But what can I do?
As it turned out, this was something, as a landlord, I decided I could afford.
I’m very lucky that the money I make on my rental property is extra income I can get by without.
Altogether, my tenancies produce about three months of profit a year, at about $6,500 a month. That money is better left in my tenants’ hands than in my bank account, right now. So, on March 18, I wrote them and told them I was waiving rent.

"'How dare you?': Bruce McArthur's victims' photos used in Indian action film to portray criminals":
Family members of five of the eight men murdered by Toronto serial killer Bruce McArthur are shocked and upset after learning their loved ones are being portrayed as criminals in a newly-released movie.
The photos of the five victims are visible in a short scene in the Indian Tamil-language action film Mafia: Chapter 1.
"I was just flabbergasted," Haran Vijayanathan said.
Vijayanathan, the executive director at the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention, has been supporting and speaking on behalf of the victims' families.
"Why are these people putting [the families] through hell again? It's completely disrespectful."
The film was released on Feb. 21 and features Indian film star Arun Vijay, who plays a narcotics police officer trying to take down a drug kingpin in Tamil Nadu, India.
Nearly 40 minutes into the movie, the photos are seen, among others, plastered onto a police investigation board while two men discuss the operation. The scene portrays those in the photos as being connected to a drug boss. They're visible for about 15 seconds.
Photos of Skandaraj Navaratnam, Selim Esen, Abdulbasir Faizi, Kirushna Kanagaratnam and Soroush Mahmudi are used. They appear to be the same photos that have been widely published in the media and released by Toronto police.
Vijayanathan pointed out that Navaratnam and Kanagaratnam were Sri Lankan Tamils and the rest of the men pictured were of Middle Eastern descent.
"How irresponsible is it of someone in the Tamil community, putting out a Tamil movie, that highlighted these two individiduals, plus three other people, who died in such a tragic way?" he said.

Try taking the pics out totally and redo the scene. That would cost more than just blurring out the images, but it would be the appropriate thing to do, in a case like this.
- NOT COOL. It doesn't take much work to take pictures for such video projects. Many times you can use crew members, friends, or family. Anyone willing to play a fictitious cameo. You can also do a call for requests from the public and have them email in pics if they want an uncredited role. There is no reason to do this kind of laziness.

My opinion: When I first read this, I was offended. I side with Canadian Patriot to get crew member's pictures on the board.
Paper clip dude: I was on Facebook and I saw this:
Tamara: The laptop I am using is so old, that the Word program has that paper clip thingy.
Well, hello tiny paper clip dude!
I commented: I have a 2004 computer that has the paper clip guy too.
John Mayer singing "Always on Time" by Ja Rule and Ashanti: I remember listening to this audio clip way back in 2002. Here it is:
Burden of Truth: I watched season 3. This season was good. The season 3 finale had this feeling of a series finale. If the show gets renewed for season 4, that's good. If it doesn't, that's fine too. The case this season was how Millwood Family Services was apprehending more children than the national average and what's really going on here.
I mainly watched this for Peter Mooney (Nick from Rookie Blue).

Cardinal: I'm excited for season 4 of this Canadian cop drama on CTV that comes out on Mon. Apr. 6.

Ryan Reynolds donates $4000 to Edmonton Food Bank: I was listening to Virgin 104.9 radio and heard this:
He's the Canadian gift that keeps on giving! Ryan Reynolds donated $4,000 to Edmonton Food Bank to help them reach their $10,000 goal. He even left a sweet message to the city in Alberta.
"We hit our goal of $10,000 dollars for the Edmonton Food Bank! Thanks to you and Ryan Reynolds who just dropped a cool 4k. Look at his donation message!" wrote Virgin Radio Edmonton on Facebook.

Apr. 4, 2020 "Pink Reveals She Had COVID-19, Donates $1 Million To Relief Efforts":
Pink has tested positive for COVID-19 the singer revealed on Friday night.
She posted a message to her social media revealing that both her and her son, Jameson, were feeling unwell when they got tested. She tested positive around two weeks ago but has since recovered.
"In an effort to support the healthcare professional who are battling on the frontlines everyday, I am donating $500,000 to the Temple University Hosptial Emergency Fund," she added.
The donation is in honour of her mother who worked their for 18 years. Another $500,000 will be donated to the City of Los Angeles Mayor's Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.
Logan William's death: I only saw The Flash pilot. This is sad.
Logan Williams, the teen actor known for playing a young Barry Allen on The CW’s The Flash, has died at the age of 16.
His passing was confirmed by his mother Marlyse Williams, who told The Tri-City News — a local newspaper serving the areas near Coquitlam, British Columbia in Canada — that her family is “absolutely devastated” by the death.
