charity/ Michael Jackson's death/ Farrah Fawcett's death
June 23 Music: I didn't really like the song called "Blame it" by Jamie Foxx. But then I found the "Blame it" remix by Donnie Klang and now I like both songs. Here's Donnie's version:
http://www.youtube.com/watchv=Ngw8zfYsf5E&feature=PlayList&p=20F1B7FA66833AE1&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=52
I borrowed the All- American Rejects cd and I really like their song "I Wanna." It's very upbeat with the lyrics: "I wanna, I wanna, I wanna touch you/ You wanna touch me too." It's a fun song to dance to.
I like this white female rapper named Sarai Howard. Now she goes by the name Miss Eighty 6. Here's a really good dance song I found of hers called "Inside Outside":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x24UdTKncYg
I also like her song "Til the Sun Comes Up":

Work: Now that my old co- worker Maygen is back, we ended up talking about old co- workers. Maygen told me about bad Dana was. M ended up buying buspasses and smokes for her, and D never paid her back. Then I went and told her about how Shannon was bad. She was the one who was yelling and swearing at me. I told my manager about it. I never went and dissed her about getting pregnant as a teenager.
M: That is a low blow.
Me: Yeah, that's why I never said that to her.
It's a really cheap shot, but I didn't diss her about it. I told the manager about her behaviour, and I made myself look like a good guy, and the victim. I never swore at her, or dissed her, and she was doing that to me. I'm going to assume that when she was a pregnant teenagr, she did get a lot of disses.
Teen pregnancy: This reminds me of this time my sister and I were at Tim Hortons back in 2002.
Me: If you got pregnant as a teenager, what would you do?
S: I never see myself in that situation.
Me: Fine, what if your daughter got pregnant as a teenager?
S: I would kick her out of the hosue.
Me: What if later she does get married?
S: I don't care. I would never respect her again.
Then I remember at the NAIT party in 2005, and I asked my friend Leslie the same question. She said: "I would yell at her."
Now I'm getting a flashback of 2006, when I had an anger management problem. I went to the dr. and then later I was talking to my dad.
Me: My friend Leslie works at the movie theatre. There's this girl who works there. She's 16, and she got pregnant.
My dad grimaced at that. It's like he saw a horror movie, and there is this really gruesome scene that came on.
Me: The girl then gave the baby up for adoption.
Dad: Yeah, but giving the baby up for adoption, you're going to feel guilty about it for the rest of your life.
I never thought giving up the baby for adoption would feel guilty. I know people feel guilty about getting an abortion.
Gender Genie: You know that website I mentioned earlier where you can submit your writing and they'll read it and analyze if you're a guy or a girl? Here's the link:
http://www.bookblog.net/gender/genie.php
I got feedback from 2 women Glynis Whiting and Conni Massing who are professional writers. They read my script and gave me tips. I submitted my script to someone, and this person gave me tips. I don't know if it's a guy or a girl. So I submitted the person's writing into Gender Genie, and they said it's a guy. I will never know for sure.
Mental: Today I was watching the drama Mental about working at a mental hospital. I tuned into the first ep, it was average. Then I checked out the David Carradine ep. Then I watched the one with the kid who was playing a video game in his ep. They were alright. Today I checked out an ep about this actor who has a mental breakdown on Talk Show with Spike Feresten. Both shows are on FOX.
The ep "Roles of Engagement" was a really good ep. I was impressed. The actor admits 20 min. into the ep that he's faking it so he could get publicity for his new movie about being in a mental hospital. Later on, the truth is revealed that when he was 14 he moved to LA. He didn't know his father, and his mother left with her boyfriend. 6 months later, he is alone and he will be out on the street. His friend Rob tells him how to make money like $100 if he sleeps with women.
Then he doesn't want to, but he's desperate. Then he goes and learns that he will be sleeping with men. This guy was a male prostitute. Then he got his big break and became a successful actor. Now he is going to therapy. I was really touched by this ep.
Quote: I got this from Miki, who gives pyshic advice. The daily affirmation said: "Being challenged and beating the odds breeds the best of people."
June 24 Funny: I found the Edmonton Sun on the bus. There was this article about a graphic designer named Dean Fraser, 29. He transforms celebrities into The Simpsons- like drawings. Check out his website at http://www.springfieldpunx.blogspot.com/
He drew Jorge Garcia from Lost, and JG contacted him saying he was flattered of the Simpsons pic of him.
June 25 Michael Jackson's death: I was at work, and then Ray came at 4:30pm and she told me that Michael Jackson had a heart attack. Well he is 50, so it's no surprise. Then I
went home and turned onto CNN, and it says he has died. I was like: "Oh my God!" I like some of his music like "Rock my World" and "Scream" a duet with his sister Janet Jackson. Then I thought: "Well looks like Jay Leno can't make fun of him anymore."
They did a little sketch where it looks like Jay Leno is doing an interview with MJ. It's where they splice everything together.
JL: How do you tuck those kids to bed?
MJ: I put on some music, have the fireplace lit up. There are cookies and milk out. We read a story.
JL: Excuse me for one moment.
Cut to JL taking a cold shower. He is cringing and shuddering.
Farrah Fawcett's death: On the same day, Charlie's Angel's Farrah Fawcett died at 62 years old, due to cancer. I remember reading the newspaper, and my mom came by and saw a pic of her. She then says: "I used to watch her on TV."
Kit Cope: I'm Myspace and Facebook friends with this guy. Then I was on Facebook and see that also has a blog on Blogger. Check it out:
http://kitcopemma.blogspot.com/
Tosh.O: Last night I was watching this show. They showed a clip of 5 black guys dirty dancing by grinding all up on the furniture. It was hot, and disturbing at the same time.
Me: Is that what guys do when they're together?
I don't know what the point of that was. Maybe if they're at a strip club or a bachelorette party, and they're performing, then it would be okay. The guys look like they're teenagers. If you want to get girls by dancing, maybe you should be doing that at the school dance.
Daniel Tosh: That is not gay at all.
D actually shows himself kind of dancing to it like they did. D mainly made fun of the clip by acting like he's introducing the guys. He gives them names like: "Pre$$ure" and "Satisfaktion." lol.
There was a segment that said: "Real or Fake?" Cut to this guy throwing a pair of scissors at this guy. The camera pans, and the pair of scissors was stuck in the guy's arm. Oh my God.
Daniel: It's real. I did my research.
Cut to Daniel on his laptop. He is wearing a black Lakers hat. There are other people sitting at the meeting table.
D: It's real. Let's try it out.
D takes a pair of scissors and throws it, and it is nailed into the wall.
Cut back to D.
D: Yeah, it happened. (Lowers his voice). On the 11th take.
lol.

Dating Guide: 40 Things You Can Learn About a Guy in 10 Minutes
They also talk about birth order, which I'm interested in. They say middle kids are sensitive and needs attention. I guess that's right. I was in the talent show in jr. high dancing by myself in front of 700 people. I dance by myself because I don't like to share the spotlight. lol. Well I'm not going to try to find someone who can dance like me.
My favorite sport is gymnastics, so I guess that makes me independent. True. I like to watch crime shows like Criminal Minds and they say I'm "analytical and thoughtful. I don't really watch a lot of comedy, but I like watching dramas that have a little comedy thrown in like The Listener, and In Plain Sight.
Dating Guide: 40 Things You Can Learn About a Guy in 10 Minutes
If you're curious about the new dude in your life but know better than to grill him with 20 questions, you're gonna love our sneaky read-him tips.By Stephanie Booth for Cosmopolitan Photo: iStockphoto.com/©Anna Bryukhanova Updated: May 22, 2009
You don't have to date a guy for six months to get the lowdown on who he really is. With the right clues, you can size him up in 10 minutes. "A man's actions -- especially the ones you see in unguarded moments when he's not going out of his way to try to impress you (or doesn't realize you're watching) -- can speak volumes about his character and personality traits," says Rita Benasutti, PhD, a psychotherapist who specializes in couples' issues. To help you decode a guy you've just started seeing, Cosmo called on a team of experts to tell you how to assess his actions and tap into his boyfriend potential, pronto.More Dating Articles from Cosmopolitan:

How to Tell if a Guy Is Cheating
His Favorite Sport
"Solo sportsmen, like runners and swimmers, 1 savor their independence and relish spending a lot of time alone," says relationship-skills coach Steve Nakamoto, author of "Men Are Like Fish: What Every Woman Needs to Know About Catching a Man." Men who are fans of mainstream team sports, like football, basketball, and baseball, 2 tend to be competitive -- on the field and in all aspects of their life -- and they like to hang with their entourage. As for the guy who's just not into sports at all, 3 "he's an independent thinker, usually on the sensitive side."
How Long He's Been Hanging With His Friends
A guy who has been friends with the same posse since he was 10 years old can certainly claim 4 loyalty as one of his strong suits. But "you better like what you see, because he's probably not great with change," says dating coach Liz H. Kelly, author of "Smart Man Hunting." "And be patient, because it will take a while for you to win his trust." If your date has buddies from all areas of his life -- i.e., college, the gym, work -- don't be afraid to drag him to your cousin's wedding. 5 "He has no problem schmoozing strangers and adapts to new situations easily."
Credit vs. Cash
A guy who likes to flash his plastic 6 craves status. "He may be ambitious and confident. He'll reach his financial goals," says Rob Ronin, PsyD, a licensed clinical psychologist and registered financial consultant. "If he always pays in cash, 7 he's self-sufficient and independent," which might make him a difficult dude to corner. And if his wallet is dry? 8 Here's a guy who's dependent on others to take care of him.
His Bad Habits
Gambling men 9 are risk-takers, which can make them a lot of fun. "But their over-the-top optimism that they'll come out ahead makes it difficult for them to face reality," says Mitchell Parks, MD, assistant professor of psychiatry at Vanderbilt University, in Nashville. "Hard-core smokers 10 tend to be anxious," says Dr. Parks, so it can be hard to pin them down for couple-time. And if he's a boozer, 11 he could be hiding his insecurity behind his buzz.
His Communication Style
When your date opts to email you -- rather than call -- 12 he could be a hard nut to crack. "The fact that he chooses a communication method that allows him to edit what he says signals that he might not want to show his true self," says Jeff Bryson, PhD, professor of psychology at San Diego State University. An IM addict 13 craves your nonstop attention and needs that instant assurance that you're there for him. And the phone fan? 14 He might be a little old-fashioned and likes to do things by the book. But, according to Bryson, "he's not afraid of intimacy."
The Clothes You Wear That He Prefers
If your fave T-shirt and jeans or a cute little sundress do more for him than your slinky black number, 15 you're dating an earthy, laid-back guy who likes equally laid-back, low-maintenance chicks. A man who's wowed by a woman who likes to get dolled up in high-end designer duds 16 places a high priority on prestige. "He'll probably make a lot of money, but it also might play too important a role in his life," says Los Angeles clinical psychologist Nancy Irwin, PsyD. And a guy who wants a Carmen Electra-sensual girl on his arm 17 is looking for an ego boost. "He places a lot of value on being admired and envied."
How He Deals With Traffic
If he constantly weaves in and out of cars, tailgates slowpokes, and glares at other drivers, 18 "it's pretty clear that he has a problem with aggression," says Leon James, PhD, professor of psychology at the University of Hawaii and author of "Road Rage and Aggressive Driving." While a forceful personality might take him far in the workplace, it could be difficult to deal with this argumentative guy in a relationship. If he's able to exude Zen-like calm when stuck in gridlock, 19 "he's likely to have more self-control."
What He Orders in a Restaurant
A meat-and-potatoes-type guy 20 is usually steady and dependable, says image coach Dianne Daniels, author of "Polish and Presence: 31 Days to a New Image." "But he's also a little unadventurous." If your date goes for exotic dishes, 21 "you're with someone who makes spontaneity a priority and could easily get bored with the status quo."Neat Freak or Messy Man
A guy who puts his dirty socks in the hamper is one thing; a guy who color-codes them in his drawer is something else. 22 "This man is way too fastidious to have fun," explains Daniels, "and he'll expect you to be just as neat." A mildly messy man 23 is looser and more open-minded. But if the inside of his shower has never seen a scrub brush, 24 he may be immature or just plain lazy.
Favorite TV Shows
Take note if he parks himself in front of one sitcom after another. 25 "Here's a guy who uses humor to defuse stress," says TV producer Hedda Muskat, author of "Dating Confidential: A Single's Guide to a Fun, Flirtatious and Possibly Meaningful Social Life." This can be a good thing, because he won't hold a grudge against you or lose his cool. But it also might be hard to get into a serious conversation with him, which can be frustrating. "The more you try to discuss something important, the more evasive he will become," says Muskat. A couch sleuth who's fascinated by CSI-type shows, on the other hand, 26 is analytical and thoughtful. "He prides himself on his problem-solving abilities and will be there for you when you need support," says Muskat.
His Birth Order
"The oldest child 27 is usually a responsible, take-charge kind of guy," says Nancy Fagan, author of "Desirable Men." If your babe is the baby of his brood, 28 "he's likely to be creative and a little rebellious." As for a middle man: 29 "He's a sensitive soul who needs loads of attention."
How He Approaches PDAs
When you're out in public and he's all over you like a rash, 30 "he's either trying to show you off or marking his territory, both of which are signs of insecurity," says Nakamoto. A guy who's allergic to body contact in public is 31 unsure about his feelings for you or your feelings for him. "PDAs are statements of togetherness," says Nakamoto. "If he has doubts, he'll keep his distance physically."
Whether He Always Drives or Wants You To
"A guy who doesn't automatically assume driving rights 32 is likely to let you steer the relationship at least some of the time," says Kelly. A man who hogs the wheel -- even in your car -- 33 is sweetly old-fashioned at best and, at worst, could be a control freak.
The Guy's Grooming MO
A guy who checks out his reflection in every store window you pass is obviously vain. But, interestingly, 34 it's also a sign of a dude who's intent on succeeding. "Presentation is everything to this kind of man," says Sheenah Hankin, PhD, author of "Complete Confidence." "He sees it as a measure of his self-respect and success." 35 The low-key, less conceited guy might be less ambitious, "but he's easier to connect with emotionally because he's not as superficial," says Hankin. "What counts on the inside matters more to him."
If He Looks You in the Eye
"A man who doesn't make eye contact during conversation 36 may not be trustworthy," says speech coach Diane DiResta, author of "Knockout Presentations." "Meanwhile, if his eyes bore into yours as he's talking, 37 he might be trying to intimidate you." But a smoldering gaze -- you know what that looks like -- 38 means he's immensely fond of you.
His Speaking Style
If your man moves his mouth a mile a minute, 39 you're with a spontaneous, high-energy guy who may be a little too self-absorbed. "Fast talkers get so wrapped up in making a good impression that they don't pay attention to their audience," says DiResta. Slow talkers 40 typically play it safe. "The way they deliberate every word before it comes out of their mouth is indicative of how they approach life: They look before they leap." So although you shouldn't expect a lot of surprises, at least you'll know he means what he says.
Things You'll Only Learn With Time
Your speedy profiling skills won't reveal these tidbits from psychotherapist Katherine Woodward Thomas, author of "Calling in 'The One'."
How loyal he'll be: Wait and see if you're shown the same allegiance as his buds are.
If he's a man of his word: Will he really keep those promises he made to you early on?
His little quirks: Time reveals the small details that really make a person tick.
If his parents' split haunts him: His broken home may have issued him some big-time emotional baggage.

writing/ question/ Blast from the Past
June 20 Writing: Today I checked my email and 5 production companies emailed me back. They were rejections, but one said he had worked with a director who did a fight movie. I asked for the director's email address so I can send him my script.I was thinking about Joss Whedon today. He can make 4 TV shows, that aren't really similar to each other. They're all supernatural. First is Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the spinoff to it Angel. Then there was Firefly which is about a crew flying in space. Then there is Dollhouse about a group of people who carry out missions.
I can't seem to write anything different. I write one MMA movie, and now I'm onto the same thing. Whedon does use the same actors, producers, and writers in his projects, but the stories all manage to be different. There is the movie Bring it On about cheerleaders. The same writers came and did a movie called Stick it about another girl sport, gymnastics. It's similar, but different.
I do have this book called The Writer's Block which is a national bestseller. It's written by Jason Rekulak who gives ideas on how to fight writer's block. I also have Screenwriting for Dummies.
A good thing is that I found this guy on that dating website. Well he found me and emailed me. I told him that we weren't a good match in dating, but we should keep in contact for networking because we're both into writing. So now we're emailing each other about it.
Question: My question is: Which is worse? A teenage girl who gets pregnant by accident or on purpose? I asked my co- worker Jennifer that, and she said: "On purpose is better because some people can be ready to have a kid." I asked my co- worker Sylvia that and she said: "A girl who gets pregnant by accident is worse because she would most likely get an abortion and that's bad."
My answer is: A girl who gets pregnant on purpose is worse. A girl who gets pregnant by accident is most likely going to give the baby up for adoption or abortion. A girl who gets pregnant on purpose is most likely to keep the baby and raise it on her own, which means she will live on welfare. That means my tax money is going to pay for it.
Quote: This also reminds me of the saying: "The difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is when you don't know better. Stupidity is when you do know better, but you do it anyway." I got this from an old ep of the talk show Jenny Jones. Wait, hear me out. It was about out- of- control- teenage girls, and the boot camp guy comes and says that.
I'm also thinking of the time that time that my 16 yr- old co- worker Jennifer who worked here back in Oct. 2008. She said she saw Maury about a teen girl who wants to have a baby. The girl on the show said: "I'm going to have a baby, and all of you guys are going to pay for it." The audience boos her. Why should I have to pay for a baby that's not even mine?
Tax money is mainly paying for other people's mistakes. Though I use the tax payers' money for good and not evil. I go to public school so I can graduate with a diploma.
June 21 Party: It was good today. I went to work where I get to sit around and write. It did make me analyze my script. This second script has the characters work at a gym so they can train in MMA. In the first script, it centred around a night club. I never worked at one, nor do I really go to any. I went to a bar once in Dec. 2004 with my NAIT friends. I didn't drink.
I don't party. I went to Capital Ex with Leslie back in 2006. We did enter the casino and that's where I showed my ID. I only got drunk twice. Once when I was 19 at dinner with my family. I drank one glass of champagne. It was in 2004. Then in Apr. 2005, I had half of can of beer with my NAIT friends. I don't really have any experience with clubs and partying.
Then I thought about how I never worked at a gym before. Nor do I go to one. I did a little research about gyms yesterday. I read the business section in The Journal about how there are gyms that are open 24 hours. People do go there at 3am to work out.
I'm not interested in gyms. If I took out the MMA in the second script, what's left of it? June 22 Good: Today a production company emailed me saying that he wants to read my script. I filled out the submission form, and sent it with my script. I also emailed another production company, and he's going to email my script to a director.
Blast from the Past: I got off the bus, and then I saw my old classmate from college, Mike. I had emailed him the other day on Facebook telling him about a game company in Edmonton. He always said he wanted to write for video games. We chatted a bit, and he asked if I still worked at the big company. The last time we saw each other was on the bus back in Sept.
Then I got to work, and my old co- worker Maygen came back. She had a hard time looking for a job, and we did need her. We then discussed my emails. Me: Which is worse, a teenage girl who gets pregnant by accident or Maygen: On purpose. Some teens are in committed relationships, very few, so some may be ready to have a baby. I'm not a teen, but I'm not ready to have a baby. It's really based on a case by case situation.
Funny: I was checking out the singer Donnie Klang on Youtube and I found these comments:
rbminx: I was in touching distance and he ripped of his shirt in Baltimore concert i went too, i almost passed out me and the gay guy infront of me, we both were on hottness overload. we have matching shorts that say donnie spank me!!!
Fppy99: thats too funny
rbminx: i know we are best friends now. See how a hot half naked singer and spank me shorts can bring ppl together.hahaha, it was one of those totally awesome moments in life

funny/ Kit Cope/ Daniel Tosh
Later:
Me: So it's pretty cool to see Jonathan Torrens.
My sister cracks a smile at that.
Me: I've seen him on Street Cents, and then his own talk show Jonovision. He did make an appearance on Degrassi: The Next Generation.
S: As what? A teacher?
Me: No, he played Caitlyn Ryan's old high school boyfriend.
S: He (Torrens) was never on the old Degrassi.
Walking Tall: Last night I saw the movie Walking Tall. It stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as an ex- military guy who comes back to his small town. He sees his old family and friends like Johnny Knoxville from Jackass. Later he sees that there is corruption in town. Dwayne then goes and meets his old friend played by Neal McDonough (Edie's husband from Desperate Housewives). Neal invites them to go to his new casino.
D goes and gets a lap dance from this stripper there. It's played by Ashley Scott (Asha from Dark Angel, and she was also in Into the Blue.) She will be his love interest. A fight occurs when D sees that the casino was cheating money out of the customers. It was a good fight scene. D does get hurt and lands in the hospital. It takes awhile for him to heal. Later it turns out his nephew took some drugs, and that was from the people at the casino. D goes and kicks some ass by destroying the casino with this big piece of wood. The casino and Neal press charges against D for assault and vandalism.
The court room scene was interesting. D fires his defense lawyer, and D represents himself. Later D then shows the jury and the entire court room his huge scars on his body.
Judge: I'm holding you in contempt. Ignore what you just saw.
I thought that was stupid to tell people to forget what they saw. It reminds me of this time I think way back in 2004. I was watching the show Century City about lawyers in 2030. The lawyer played by the actor who also played Bob Buss from 2gether was on. Lawyer gives all this evidence.
Judge: This evidence is inadmissible.
L: Yeah, whatever. Strike it then.
My sister laughs at it.
Me: What's so funny?
S: Him saying "Strike it" as in striken it from the record. You might as well be saying: "Don't think of a white bear" and then you're thinking of it right now.
That also reminds me of The Listener. The last ep had Toby say: "Don't think of the locker comb." The bad guy then starts thinking it, so then Toby was able to get into the storage locker and save the girl. Now back to the movie. It was a really good action movie and it was fun to watch. I recommend you watch it.
June 15 Kit Cope: Good news everybody. I've been emailing professional MMA fighter Kit Cope on Facebook. He has read my script The Fighter and he says he wants to be in it. I asked if he is willing to come to Edmonton to film it. I also asked how my movie is like those other pit fighting movies he said.
He says: "Obviously I'll go wherever the movie is being filmed. There are a ton of movies that loosely have that format. Lionheart, Never Surrender, Perfect Weapon, Gladiator. Don't get me wrong, it's a format that works. Another thing that I wanted to mention was: don't write in the fight choreography. Let a fight choreographer figure the best way to do that."
I've been pitching this script since Jan. 2008 to present. It's been a year and a half. It's great to finally hear at least one person saying yes to it. I emailed a production company telling them that he's in it.
June 16 Horoscope: Today I read my horoscope in 24. It said this: "A journey is about to conclude. In the final scene, you ride into the sunset with everything you were meant to have." That's nice. It seems to really speak to me to what I've been working with this script.
June 17: Today I got an email from a production company. He said that it was "interesting" that Kit Cope was going to be in it, and that he will read the script this weekend. I sent that script back in June 1. So after 2 and a half weeks, now he's going to read it. Well, better late than never.
June 18 Daniel Tosh: I was watching Tosh.0, and my sister came by and watched the first 7 minutes of it. She didn't like it at all.
D: Do you know how David Carradine really died? He hung himself in a closet in a Bangkok hotel as he was pleasuring himself. That's how my grandpa died. Too soon?
Me: Yeah. DC had his funeral last week.
Cut to an obese man shooting a gun.
D: Put 20 seconds on the clock and I will put up all these captions underneath this video. "You don't see a left handed gun man that often." Ha, I didn't go with a fat joke. "Guns don't kill people, Type 2 diabetes kill people."
I laughed out loud at that one.
D: "A mountain is shooting at us." "Oh no, a bear with a gun."
They showed a clip of this deformed young woman tap dancing with an umbrella.
D: Pull up your sock. You should lose the umbrella if you want to get on Dancing with the Stars.
S: That is low.
S: How long has this show been on?
Me: Since last week. This is the second ep.
S: This is the kind of show that makes people dumber.
Me: Then get out of here. This guy was on Jay Leno before.
S: Doesn't mean that he's on Jay Leno means that he's good.
Then there was a commercial break and S left. Today I told my co-worker Jennifer about it and she told me: "You watch weird shows."
In the ep, D talks to Miss Teen North Carolina. You know the teen who totally messed up her answer to why many students can pin point where the USA is. She was saying stuff like "the Iran", "US Americans." Her second chance on this show was to simply say: "I don't know."
As D was talking with her, they both dressed up in the same blue dress with the North Carolina sash on them. I burst out laughing when D showed up wearing the identical blue dress with her.
The Listener: I saw a new ep of the show today. This time the bad guy is a woman and she actually gets arrested instead of killing herself by accident or on purpose like the first 3 eps. This time, Toby is a suspect because he spent the last night with the girl who died. The boyfriend is a suspect, and so is the girl's boss.
Rant: Here's a mild rant. I go to Shoppers Drug Mart to buy food for the restaurant. The manager gives me money, and I can put it on my Shoppers card to get points and then redeem them to buy stuff. I remember the days when Shoppers had at least $5 worth of points and you can redeem them. This was back in 2007. Now you have to have at least $10 worth of points before you can redeem them. That mildly annoys me. It's not to the point that I'm going to write a angry letter to the store or complain to the manager.
June 19 Writing: I haven't been writing since I hit writer's block. Today I did pitch to production companies. I haven't been pitching because I got 3 people reading it. Now it's down to 2 people reading it. I did get a yes from Kit Cope, so that's why I decided to go pitching again and mention that he's in it.
I was also inspired because Screenwriting Goldmine emailed me another newsletter. I also called Conni Massing with that new script I'm working. She, and like my friend Dan said, that it's similar to the first script. It's both about MMA.
Job search: Today was my day off so I passed out a resume to Stantec. I also passed one out to the U of A because my co-worker Sylvia told me about how she had a friend who worked there. It's a call centre job where they call people to ask for donations to the U of A. I got to the place and went to one desk, and then directed to another desk. I had to go two floors up. Then I went to one office, directed to another, and then I was lead to the right one. lol.
Drive: I also took a driving lesson today and practiced turning left and right. I also didn't get into an accident, so that's good.

moving/ dream/ crazy driving accident
I saw the new apartment building that's being built called the Venetian. It's still in construction, but it's really nice. When I first saw Kat, she was wearing a red shirt that said: "Everyone loves an Asian girl." I told her my sister had that shirt. lol. It's from Urban Outfitters. I then met a whole bunch of people like Connie, John, and their son Christopher, Edmund, Wayson, Angela, Sherry, Marcello. Wow, 9 people and I remember all their names. Now I'm struggling to remember this 10th person's name. Katrina?
Dream: I had a weird dream last night. My sister was going to start her new job at Old Navy at West Ed mall and she was excited about it. Then I woke up and realized that it's ludicrous for her to be working there.
Petition: Today I did watch Oprah, but it was about internet predators. Sheesh, this subject matter is what got me into watching Dateline: To Catch a Predator. That was also what got me into watching The Young and the Restless back in 2003 when they did a story line about that. I also watched the movie Hard Candy because of it. It starred Ellen Page before she got big in Juno.
You can go to www.oprah.com and help get funding for the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act. He is the son of America's Most Wanted host John Walsh. AW was abducted and murdered. You can copy and paste the letter and send it to the senator and state representative. Yeah, it's American but if you're interested, I'm sure you can still help.
Music: I was looking up the music artist Donnie Klang on Youtube. He did a remix of Jamie Foxx's song "Blame it." It sounds cool, you should check it out. I didn't care for the original, but since I like DK, I like this remix. I borrowed the Miley Cyrus cd called "Breakout" from the library. It's an alright cd. I like the song "Fly on the Wall", but nothing else.
I checked out that Jonas Brothers cd where they do a 3- D concert. It's an alright cd too. It has Taylor Swift and Demi Lavoto making an appearance and each performing a song.
June 13 Funny: This is funny, and annoying. The other day I woke up at 4am because my siblings were arguing. Then later in the day:
Me: Thanks for waking me up at 4am.
Sister: Yeah well I had to.
As in had to argue with Patrick.
I remember this time back in 2000, I was playing cards with my sister. She wins.
Me: Lucky in cards, but not lucky in love.
S: Shut up.lol.
See it's funny, but annoying. If someone said that to you, you would say shut up too. That's exactly what happened in my script prior to me saying that to her. I got that quote from this book about Chinese zodiac signs and Western horoscopes.
Crazy driving accident: It was crazy today. I went on my first driving lesson where I'm finally in the driving seat. I did get into an accident. It was towards the end of the lesson where I'm driving in Capilano after driving around in Millwoods for over an hour. So I was driving, and then this red car comes and turns and cuts right in front of me. I then press the brakes, but I still hit the bumper of the car. The red car then turns and pulls over. This white teenage boy steps out. He checks out his bumper, and it's fine.
Then my instructor Tony goes and tells me to pull over to him. Tony gets out of the car, as the boy was going back in. Tony stops him and they're yelling and swearing at each other.
Tony: You shouldn't be driving like that, cutting in. That's irresponsible.
Boy: You should be teaching her how to f---ing drive. I don't have any damage and neither do you.
Tony: But you shouldn't be f---ing cutting in like that.
Boy: I have a right to be f---ing yelling at you.
The Boy's guy friend stayed in the car. I stayed in the car too. I did say to the Boy: "This is my first driving lesson!" I don't think he heard me.
This red van came up to both of our cars and this guy asked: "Are you guys okay?"Then we drove for a few more minutes. We were driving and that red car was driving in another lane going the opposite way. I don't think they noticed us because they drove past us without looking at us.
There are 2 sides to every story. I'm sure that the Boy was going to say his story like this to his friends: "I was driving in my car, and then I made a left turn. This car behind us then rammed into my my bumper. I turned and pulled over. I got out and checked my bumper which was fine. Then that gray car pulled up and this Asian guy got out of the passenger seat and he was yelling at me to not drive irresponsibly. Well his daughter was the one who driving and rammed into me. I don't know why he was yelling at me since he was the one who hit my car. I told him to teach her how to f---ing drive. There was no damage anyway."
They didn't even exchange insurance numbers anyway. Then as I was driving I was talking about this girl Sarah who died in a car accident when I was in gr.12. She wasn't driving though. Tony told me to stop talking about it and focus on driving.
Driving safety: Look, nobody got hurt. Let's not do any bad stereotypes like Asian people and teenage boys are bad drivers. I have read in The Globe and Mail years ago that it's the teenage boy who sits in the passenger seat talking, that's what affects bad driving. Not the teenage boy driver. However, I did learn that the driver talking on the cell phone is worse than the driver talking to a passenger. The passenger actually knows when to stop talking and telling the driver to pay attention to the road.
All I can say is don't drink and drive, don't talk on your cell phone or text when driving. It's like that movie Cellular where Chris Evans character says to a woman talking on her cell and driving: "Get off the phone and concentrate on the road!"I don't know. If it's a adult man or woman who cut in, Tony and that person would still be yelling at each other. If I didn't ram into the other car, though I was close to, Tony would still be yelling at that person to not cut in like that.
June 14 Drive: Today S and I went to the driving school. It got pretty boring in the afternoon and I see some people were falling asleep. It was from 9am- 5pm. At the end of the day, we had to take a test and get at least 20/25 questions right. I got 2 questions wrong. I was surprised.
S was telling me that I shouldn't have told P about that car accident.
S: You know P is really reluctant to drive. Why do you think he's 21 and still hasn't learned to yet?
Me: I thought he was like me, that he wanted to focus on school first.
S: Well he's smart and he can study this for a month and take the test. He's afraid to get into an accident.
Me: Yeah, and so am I. Though I think I was more afraid to fail the test.
It took me 3 tries to pass the learner's permit test. I am more interested in getting a college diploma than a driver's license. When I was in high school, I focused on getting a high school diploma. After I graduated, I went to Centre High (2003) so I could focus on getting into college.
Then I went to NAIT (2004) , to get that college certificate, though that didn't work out. Then I was trying to get a college diploma somewhere else (2005). Then in 2006, I got accepted into the Professional Writing program. In the summer I did study the driver's manual, but mainly I was working on my anger management problem. Then in summer 2007 I read the manual too. Then in summer 2008, I finally went and got the learner's permit.

writing/ Gender Genie/ Daniel Tosh
Drive: I called this one driving school and she said that I had to have my learner's permit for at least a year before I take the road test. That will be next month. I asked my sister about the driving school she went to and she got mad at me because I was only doing something because she was doing it. S was taking a refresher course.
I wasn't copying her. When I got that learner's, I kept calling this one guy Patton for driving lessons. My mom told me to call him. He kept saying he's busy in Oct., and in Nov., and in Dec. I've been calling this guy for months. Then it wasn't until this month my dad told me to go to another driving school.
Look there's nothing on TV tonight. There are 3 people reading my script right now and I'm waiting if anyone's interested. Now I can focus on other stuff like driving.
June 9 Gender Genie: I was on twop.com reading about Law and Order: SVU and there was this website called Gender Genie. Go to this site. Submit a piece that's fiction, non- fiction or blog entry. I submitted a blog entry and it said I was a guy. I told my sister and she said she got a guy too. lol.
I then submitted a non- fiction piece. It's the one where I emailed the Criminal Minds actor Matthew Gray Gubler. I wrote about it, and it was part of my portfolio to try to get into the Professional Writing program. I also got a guy too for that entry. Type "True Story" into my blog www.badcb.blogspot.com and you can read it.
I then submitted my short story called "TJ's Story." That's another piece for my Professional Writing portfolio. You can also type that into my blog and read it. I got a female for that. What's weird, is that the fictional story I was writing through a guy's point of view. Then they read my blog entry which is true, and my true story, and they say I'm a guy. Ironic, because I'm writing as myself. I'm not trying to be someone else.
I then submitted my career investigation that I tried to get into NAIT's TV program. Though I got rejected. I also got a male for it. I just put that investigation on my blog. It's a good piece of writing. I checked out Microsoft Word, and it said that piece of writing was created back in May 21, 2005.
Why did I keep this for a long time? Well I guess I still wanted to be in NAIT's TV program. Well I still graduated out of the Professional Writing program with a diploma, and that's what matters. Also this was saved on a 3.5 floppy disk that I got from the early 90s. It will eventually stop working. Putting it up on my blog will be my insurance that it won't be deleted.

Daniel Tosh: Daniel Tosh is a comedian. I saw him years ago. I don't know, like 2003? Well then I saw him on Jay Leno in 2004. I know it's that year because he was making fun of Newlyweds, back when Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey were still married. I went on imdb.com and saw that he was on Jay Leno 5 times.
The joke I remember back in 2003, he was ranting about how he was annoyed about those award shows. The winners are always saying: "Wow, I can't believe I won." Well of course you were going to win, you got an aisle seat. I also remembered him saying about how he was a kid he wanted to grow up to be a fire truck. lol. That's because he watched a lot of Transformers.
Last Saturday I saw that he was going to be on Comedy Network so I watched him. He was funny. Today his new show debuted called Tosh.O. It's where he shows video clips off the internet and makes these jokes about it. Here's an example:
D: We all want second chances.
Cut to a pic of Bristol Palin and her boyfriend Levi.
D: Like wear a condom.
Cut to a pic of Rihanna.
D: Or duck.
The audience says: "Ohhhhh."
D: Or stop dating sleaze bags.
Then D goes and talks to the Afro Ninja. He is a black guy and a professional stunt man. He made a video where he does a back flip and doesn't land it, and falls. The second chance is that he does a back flip, and he lands it on Tosh.O. What was really cool was then, D goes and runs to him, the guy lifts D on his hand, D then does a back flip and lands it.
At the last bit:
D: I'm going to leave you with this. The Royal Bank of Scotland has a website called "nig.com." I'm sure someone at the bank said: "The Royal Bank of Scotland.com is already taken, what should we call ourselves?" "How about nig.com?" Well I have a friend who's Scottish, and he isn't offended by it all.
lol. You think he's going to say that he has a black friend who isn't offended by it, but then he goes and says his friend's Scottish.
On imdb.com, D is 34 years old, and was born in Germany.June 10
Good: Good news. The writer Conni Massing read my new script that I have hit writer's block on, and she wants to talk to me about it.
Funny: I was talking to my friend Ray about my weekly emails. The one where I tell Sherry's friend who's very dyslexic, and she couldn't get a job because she couldn't read: "She should be a stripper. You don't have to read, and you can make a lot of money. You're probably laughing."
Ray then said that she did laugh at it when she read it. lol.
Ray: I'm so hungry, I could eat a horse.
Me: "I'm so hungry, I could eat at Arby's."
Ray laughs.
Me: That's from The Simpsons. It's the episode where the kids were stranded on the island. They were making fun of Lord of the Flies. One of the twin girls say: "I'm so hungry, I could eat at Arby's." All the kids then say: "Woah, you must be really hungry."
Dating analysis: I was thinking about how when a production company rejects my script pitch or script after reading it, I'm okay with it. I'm then out there and emailing more production companies trying to get it produced. I'm not afraid of that rejection.
As for online dating, I did some work on my profile. I put up more info about myself by copying and pasting from my Facebook profile onto it. My main pic is then changed to a close up of me. I sent an email to a guy. The thing is, in each email I do kind of say the same thing, but I do tailor it to that person. This reminds me of an old convo with my friend Angela. She was talking about resumes, and how she tailors her resume to each place she applies to.
The Listener: I saw the 3rd ep of this show today. You can watch full- length eps on www.ctv.ca. I just realized something. The bad guy always dies unless in later episodes they switch it up. In the first ep, the bad guy is about to attack the good guys, and he falls over the cliff. The 2nd ep, the bad guy commits suicide. In the 3rd ep, the cop shoots the bad guy because he's coming at her with an ax.
What's good, is that Toby's paramedic partner, he now learns the secret that he can read minds. Now that's going to add something to the show. I do find that there is good writing on the show, with the plot twists. In this ep, you think it's the homeless guy Taz who kidnapped and is holding a girl. Then it's later revealed that it's the guy who owns the storage building, he's the bad guy.
Taz is a phonic. He can't speak, so that's why he can't go to the police. He's also schizophernic.
Blog: I was on myspace.com, and put up all those emails from celebs I had kept. For example, Sarai Howard emailed me back. She's this white female rapper, but she sounds black. I have her cd that she released back in 2003. I also have an email from Ashley Niven from the girl group PYT. I have the cd from 2003.
I also have Cythinia Lissette. She does background vocals to Jennifer Lopez songs. I also got an email back from the actor Miko Hughes. He was in the movie Mercury Rising as a kid.
Cynthia Lissette Email
