Jan. 31, 2025 Call Centre #3: I have worked here before.
I did 1 day of training in 2007. They then said they decided not to hire me, because there would be too much training.
I got rehired with this guy Bradlee in 2009. The first 2 weeks I was working full- time. After that, I was working part- time, because of the project.
I then got laid off.
I attended a virtual job interview.
Pros:
1. The woman said this job was work from home. When I worked there, I was in the office.
I would be calling people through the computer.
There are call centres where I have a dial pad.
2. The pay was $18/ hr. After 3 months, there would be a raise.
3. This is part- time.
4. I can do the job of calling people to do surveys on the phone.
Cons: These are mild.

Cons:
1. I have to take 3 buses to get there. I have been unemployed for a long time, but I was willing to make the commute.
My opinion: I would work there if I got hired. The boss said she was looking for someone with more experience.
May 6, 2025 The Senior Residence Restaurant:
Pros:
1. The hours are part- time and daytime hours. Mon. -Fri. 9:30am -6pm. Sat. 8:30am -1:30pm.

3. The duties are stocking food, and food prep: chopping veggies and fruits.
Cleaning, working the till, and serving customers.
4. There is a free meal on shift.
Cons: none.
My opinion: I would work there if I got hired.
Jun. 2, 2025 The Bingo Hall: I then attended this interview in the afternoon after the Senior Residence Restaurant.

1. This was door -to -door. I have done door -to -door sales once in 2012. I was selling The Edmonton Sun newspaper subscriptions and sold 5 in my first shift (4 hrs). I didn't like it and I quit after that 1 shift.
I worked as an Edmonton Census surveyor where I go door -to -door and ask how many people live in the house in 2012. That was a 1 month job and it was average. I got paid per survey and it was good. I made $400.
My opinion: I wouldn't work there because it was door -to -door. When I read the job ad, I thought I would be on the phones calling people to donate to charities.
