Webinar: Guantánamo & Beyond

Dear Tracy,
By now, you've probably heard the good news. After more
than a decade of campaigning by Amnesty International
members and supporters worldwide, Shaker Aamer has
been sent home from Guantánamo.
This is an exciting victory for the Amnesty movement,
but there is more work to be done. Survivors of torture
continue to suffer the physical and psychological
consequences resulting from their treatment by the U.S.
government.

/8:00PM (Eastern Time) for a webinar to celebrate this victory
together, and to discuss what we can do next.

There are still 112 men being detained at Guantánamo.
Human rights are still being violated in the name
of national security.
Amnesty International activists like you are uniquely
positioned to demand the White House live up to
its promises to lead the world on human rights.
American Torture Story is never repeated.
Sincerely,

Naureen Shah
Director, Securty and Human Rights
Amnesty International USA
P.S. To learn more about what you can do to close
Guantánamo and to bring accountability for torture,
